How the SABO Referee Clinic is set up?
Participants will go through three (3) 30 minute sessions on different parts of refereeing as well as have on the court training during the 3 night training. Each session will be designed for your level of refereeing and will be delivered by different instructors who have years of experience at the high school and college level.
Participants will referee actual scrimmage basketball games involving teams from the YBOA travel teams. Participants will be critiqued for improvement by high school and college referees, assigners and evaluators.
One of the unique details about the SABO Referee Clinic is that you will earn your Clinic fee back by refereeing in the following weeks of the FCYBA Spring Basketball League.
